Star Wars @ Redford Theatre

Redford Theatre is rolling out the red carpet for “Star Wars: A New Hope.” You can catch this classic film on Friday, April 25th at 8 PM and again on Saturday, April 26th at 2 PM. Tickets are priced at just $7 and can be bought in advance. It’s the perfect way to kick off a weekend filled with adventure!

Corktown Music Festival

If you’re a music lover, you’re in for a treat! The Corktown Music Festival kicked off on Thursday night and is set to keep the rhythm alive through Friday and Saturday. With over 150 bands performing across 9 venues in the Corktown neighborhood, your ears are in for a delight! Notable performances include:

  • No Vision at Flamingo Vintage on Friday night
  • Ryan Allen, Big Life, and The Hourlies at Lager House on Friday
  • Black Swan Dive Bomb and The Ghouls at Flamingo Vintage on Saturday
  • Permanently Pissed and The Lowcocks at Lager House on Saturday

Ticket prices are $15 for a day or $25 for a weekend pass. Grab your friends and dance the night away!

Opening Night @ The House of Tarot

Adventure into the mystical at The House of Tarot, featuring an immersive art installation with 22 artists, each representing a Major Arcana Tarot card. The opening night is on Friday, April 25th from 5:30 PM to midnight. Tickets are priced at $22.85. If you miss the grand opening, don’t fret! The art will be on display from April 26 to May 10, Thursdays to Sundays from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

Detroit X Detroit @ The Loving Touch

Celebrate the local music scene at Detroit X Detroit, where independent Detroit musicians will be rocking out covering tunes from other Detroit artists. It’s the 13th year of this popular event, featuring performances on two stages. With a cover charge of just $10, the proceeds support a School of Rock scholarship.
